wire color list:
group #1 is a thick purple, and a red wire
group #2 both wires have clips and are orange and black stripe wires ,, (ones 1-in longer)
group #3 both wires have rubber boots, one wire is orange and black the other is just black.
Group #4 one blue wire with rubber boot and one short black wire with a bare fork clip.
Group #5 one thick rubber boot wire (black and red stripe),, one gray clip 2wire (one blue, one black),,,,,, one black clip with a green wire.
Group #6 4wire clip and one black wire clip.

Group 1 goes to the starter. Group 2 are to the electric kickdown switch for the auto trans mounted on the carburetor. Group 3: black goes to the blower motor and the black and orange goes to the 2-speed auto transmision. Group 4: blue wire to oil pressure sending unit, black with fork to the positive side of the coil. Group 5: Grey plug to back of alternator, rubber boot to back of alternator, green to temperature sending unit. Group 6: wire clip to voltage regulator, other wire to wiper washer,
